SPECIAL CALLED MEETING NOTICE:
The Macon County Board of Education will meet on Thursday, February 23, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Macon County Schools Administrative Offices.
The purpose of this meeting is for the Board to hold a hearing on a matter required by law to be held in closed session. Immediately following the meeting being called to order, the Board will entertain a motion to enter into closed session. No action is expected to be taken in open session.

Monday evening during the January Board of Education Meeting, we held a pinning ceremony to honor seven students from Franklin High School who earned the NC Certified Nursing Assistant credential. They will be graduating ready to work! Congratulations to all! We are so proud!
