Mr. Larry Pickens has spent this week in Atlanta at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. Mr. Pickens is serving on the National Education Team and is in charge of overseeing the SkillsUSA National Firefighting Competition for 38 competitors. The firefighting competition consists of an interview process, door breaching, rope tying, and indoor and outdoor skills courses. Thank you, Mr. Pickens, for representing FHS and the state of North Carolina at SkillsUSA Nationals!
