We hope that everyone is safe from the effects of Hurricane Helene. Assessments are still underway of the damage and the resources available. Administration is working with emergency personnel, the County Office, and others to make a decision regarding school on Monday. As always, our top concern is the safety and well-being of students and staff both at school and getting to/from school. We will update families and staff as we know more. Any middle school girls that are interested in playing volleyball this fall. There will be workouts starting Wednesday June 12th 9:00 -10:30 am in the new gym. These will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays through most of the summer. A summer schedule will be passed out at the workouts and posted on this app and other social media outlets. You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department in order to participate. If you are not sure if your student-athletes physical is current email brett.lamb@macon.k12.nc.us and Coach Lamb can check.

Tough night on the field for our Lady Highlander Soccer team. Tough loss to Swain in a tie breaker match. The NCHSAA soccer playoff brackets come out tomorrow and our Lady Highlanders will be back in action Monday. Check tomorrow afternoon for updates and the playoff schedule.

If you are able to provide a cold side dish or dessert please sign up at the link attached in the email message. Parents can also sign up to monitor students in the cafeteria during lunchtime.
